I am excited to be the taking over the Cross Country and Tennis programs at Wellman-Union. I have coached tennis for 19 years, and during that time was the 2015 Texas Tennis Coaches Association 3A Region 1 Coach of the Year and was awarded the 2022 Best High School Coach of Texas Tennis by the United States Tennis Association. I will also be teaching High School Social Studies. I have a deep love for history and hope to share that love with my students. I earned my bachelor's degree in history, from Texas Tech University, and my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. I will celebrate 20 years of marriage with my wife, Melinda, in July. I have two sons, Ryan and Lincoln.
