Maintenance

Wellman-Union is searching for an excellent maintenance employee to add to our family. This position will work alongside our maintenance team to ensure students continually have the very best!

The preferred qualifications for the maintenance position include several years of successful experience in maintenance to include groundskeeping and general maintenance. The position will requiregeneral maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems as well as expertise in grounds keeping maintenance, sprinkler systems, mowing, edging, etc.

Junior High Math Teacher (6th, 7th, 8th)

Substitute Teachers

Wellman-Union ISD is looking for substitute teachers for the 2021-22 school year. Please contact the school at 806-637-4910 if you are interested. Pay is $70 per day for non-degreed, and $80 per day with a college degree. Applicants must also pass a background check.

Bus Drivers

Wellman-Union ISD is seeking bus drivers for the 2021-2022 school year.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, pass all background checks, and have a clear and valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.  Pay is $15 per hour.  If interested, please contact the school at 806-637-4910 or email application to Johnny Tubb, Interim Superintendent at jtubb@esc17.net.
