Elementary Teacher

WUCISD is searching for an excellent instructional leader to add to our family. This position will work alongside our Administration Team to ensure student growth.

Teacher Certification preferred in Elementary Education with an emphasis of Early Education PK-1.

The qualifications for the position include several years of successful teaching experience in Elementary education with an emphasis on building successful programs that are; accountable, systematic, structured, focused on growth, and a committed to a winning culture. 

WUCISD boasts extremely competitive salary/stipends, small class sizes, an excellent West Texas Family Atmosphere, and a culture committed to growth.

Salary and Benefits: $9,296 above state base, $400 towards insurance, with other stipends available.

School Housing is Available: $100 rent per month.

Head Football Coach

WUCISD is searching for an excellent athletic and instructional leader to add to our family. This position will work alongside our Administration Team to ensure students and student athletes grow.

Coaching duties will include Head Football and other sports during the year.

Teaching Field options currently are Secondary Social Studies with a possibility of others, depending on the right candidate.

The qualifications for the Head Football position include several years of successful coaching/teaching experience in High School Football/Secondary education with an emphasis on building successful programs that are; accountable, systematic, structured, focused on growth, and committed to a winning culture. 

WUCISD boasts a 4-Day work week, extremely competitive salary/stipends, small class sizes, an excellent West Texas Family Atmosphere, and a culture committed to growth.

Salary and Benefits: $9,296 above state base, $400 towards insurance, $1,000 stipend per tested subject, plus coaching stipends.

Paraprofessional

WUCISD is searching for an excellent Paraprofessional to add to our family. This position will work alongside our exceptional WUCISD Team to ensure student growth.

Potential Paraprofessional applicants are expected to provide instructional reinforcement of lesson plans, under direction of classroom teacher, serve as a positive, nurturing guide for students, and provide inclusion support for students.

Pay Range: $17,166 to $37,381 depending on experience.

Substitute Teachers

Wellman-Union ISD is looking for substitute teachers for the 2024-25 school year. Please contact the school at 806-637-4910 if you are interested. Pay is $70 per day for non-degreed, and $80 per day with a college degree. Applicants must also pass a background check.
