Head Girls Basketball

WUCISD is searching for an excellent instructional leader to add to our family. This position will work alongside our Administration Team to ensure student growth on and off the court.

Teaching responsibilities will include Dual Credit Facilitator. Teacher Certification is preferred in JH Math or JH Reading, however not required.

Coaching duties will include Head Girls Basketball, Asst. Volleyball, with the possibility of Head Track and/or Girls Coordinator.  

The preferred qualifications for the position include several years of successful teaching experience in Secondary Education; with an emphasis on building successful programs that are; accountable, systematic, structured, focused on growth, and a commitment to a winning culture.  A CDL is also a preferred qualification.

WUCISD boasts a 4-Day work week, extremely competitive salary/stipends, small class sizes, an excellent West Texas Family Atmosphere, and a culture committed to growth.

Salary and Benefits: $9,296 above state base, $400 towards insurance, $1,000 stipend per tested subject, plus coaching stipends, and 10 additional paid coaching days.

School Housing is Available: $100 rent per month.

Paraprofessional

WUCISD is searching for an excellent Paraprofessional to add to our family beginning ASAP in the current school year. This position will work alongside our exceptional WUCISD Team to ensure student growth.

Potential Paraprofessional applicants are expected to provide instructional reinforcement of lesson plans, under direction of classroom teacher, serve as a positive, nurturing guide for students, and provide inclusion support for students.

Pay Range: $17,166 to $37,381 depending on experience.

Substitute Teachers

Wellman-Union ISD is looking for substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Please contact the school at 806-637-4910 if you are interested. Pay is $70 per day for non-degreed, and $80 per day with a college degree. Applicants must also pass a background check.
