I’m from Brownfield and graduated from Brownfield High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech, and I’ve been teaching for 11 years. I’ve spent most of my years teaching pre-k, but have also taught kindergarten. I am currently designated as a Master TIA teacher, and I have served as a campus instructional coach.

I have been married to Rich for 20 years and we have two wonderful boys, Ryan and Lincoln. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family and Rocket, my cat. 

My favorite thing about teaching is being able to inspire the same love of reading I have into each of the students who come into my classroom. As a teacher, I believe I have the unique and wonderful privilege of showing students how amazing and fun it can be to learn new things.
