Hello there!
I am the 5th grade homeroom teachers at Wellman-Union. This year, I am teaching 4th and 5th grade Science, and 5th grade Social Studies to my homeroom class. This is my 13th year at Wellman-Union and there is no other place I would rather be!
I grew up in Brownfield and graduated from Brownfield High School in 2005. From there, I attended South Plains College and received my Associate's Degree. While attending college, I worked at a daycare and learning center in Lubbock, Tx where I quickly found my love for teaching children. I later transferred to Texas Tech University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood. After graduation, my husband and I moved back to Brownfield to start our family and was hired on at Wellman-Union CISD and have made this our home. I have two young girls that keep my husband and I laughing and on our toes. My older daughter is in 4th grade and she loves school and to dance! My younger daughter will be in 1stgrade this year and loves being around her friends and learning to read everything!
I love the family atmosphere that W-U provides and the involvement we have from the families and community. Our students are very respectful and we are able to build a bond like no other! I am very proud of our students and staff and could not imagine being anywhere else.
