Wellman-Union Career & Technical Education

The district offers career and technical education programs in the following areas: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources and Business Management.  Admission to these programs is based on availability on the schedule.  These programs will be offered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, or disability.  Wellman-Union will take steps to ensure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and CTE programs.  

Current class offerings for the 2017-2018 school year are available below.  Wellman-Union offers two career and technical student organizations: FFA for agriculture, food, and natural resources; FBLA for business.

The mission of the Wellman-Union Independent School District is to educate the young people of our community to become productive members of our constantly changing society. All students will be provided opportunities for the development of essential academic skills. Opportunities will be provided for going far beyond these essentials, as well. To the extent of their individual abilities, students will be provided the opportunity to think logically, independently, and creatively, and to communicate effectively. Emphasis will be placed on quality of personnel and instruction in accomplishing this mission.
