The mission of the Wellman-Union Independent School District is to educate the young people of our community to become productive members of our constantly changing society. All students will be provided opportunities for the development of essential academic skills. Opportunities will be provided for going far beyond these essentials, as well.
To the extent of their individual abilities, students will be provided the opportunity to think logically, independently, and creatively, and to communicate effectively.
Emphasis will be placed on quality of personnel and instruction in accomplishing this mission.
