High School Science

Shawn Horn

This is my third year as the high school science teacher at Wellman-Union.  I additionally serve as the 8th grade science teacher, UIL Science coach, UIL co-coordinator, and GT co-coordinator. My goal as an educator is to prepare students of all backgrounds for their future beyond high school.  This primarily involves promoting problem solving ability and process-oriented thinking.  With these 2 skill sets, students will have the tools to be successful at whatever they desire, whether that be further schooling or entering the work force.
