Callie Sandusky - Fifth Grade

Callie Sandusky
(806) 637-4619

My name is Callie Sandusky. This is my third year as a Wellman-Union Wildcat. My experience at WU has been nothing short of amazing. I absolutely love the community that such a small school provides for its staff and students.

I grew up in a similar small school near Roscoe. I graduated from Highland High School and went on to attend Lubbock Christian University. During my time at LCU, I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education, and I also had the privilege of playing a little Lady Chap basketball.

I am currently a fifth grade teacher as well as the JH basketball, volleyball, and track coach. I will also be assisting the high school athletic program. I am super excited for the adventure and competition that awaits in the upcoming school year! Go Wildcats!!

The mission of the Wellman-Union Independent School District is to educate the young people of our community to become productive members of our constantly changing society. All students will be provided opportunities for the development of essential academic skills. Opportunities will be provided for going far beyond these essentials, as well. To the extent of their individual abilities, students will be provided the opportunity to think logically, independently, and creatively, and to communicate effectively. Emphasis will be placed on quality of personnel and instruction in accomplishing this mission.
